Permanent Equity was founded in 2007 by Brent Beshore. Unlike traditional private equity firms that buy companies to sell them within 3-7 years, we are structured to hold investments indefinitely. We have never sold a portfolio company.

Our approach is sometimes called "permanent capital" or "long-duration investing." We believe the best outcomes for companies, employees, and communities come from patient, aligned ownership—not financial engineering or forced timelines.

## Who We Work With

We partner with owners of profitable, established businesses who care what happens to their company after they sell. Our typical seller is a founder or family owner who has built something meaningful and wants to ensure their team and culture are protected.

We also work with investors seeking exposure to permanent capital strategies—those looking for long-term compounding without the traditional PE fund lifecycle.

## Investment Approach

We acquire controlling stakes in profitable North American businesses. We look for:
